Good evening,
I’ve been battling what I had originally thought to be Dino’s as I saw some bubbles attached to long strands extending up into the water column.
I have eradicated most of the issue by doing the following:
Dose nitrate daily - currently at 14
Dose Phosphate daily - currently at 0.05
Dose 3 different formulations of bacteria:
•Bright well aquatics Microbactor 7 daily
•Microbe-Lift Special Blend every 3 days
•Microbe-Lift Therapy every 3 days
Dose Brightwell Aquatics SpongExcel daily (80 drops or so)
Blow off any visible algae (Dino’s?) and let them go to my fleece roller for removal - daily
Decrease the red and green spectrum in my lighting
I pulled a bit of the suspected growth out for examination today and to perform the Cyano vs Dino H2O2 test. As of right now, this sample I pulled out for the test and photo was the only visible bit I could find in the tank
I am curious if anyone has an Id for the algae or whatever in my photo.
Thanks
