Yesterday was pretty nice. I got my puppy (!!!) and still managed to get in an hour or so of the live sale. I was a bit more strategic than in past sales, so didn't mind missing out on the $5 pieces and some other good deals.

I came in with a plan for what I was looking for and got them (including a replacement monti frag that I just ordered two weeks ago but which got knocked off the rockwork and buried by the pistol shrimp - I got very snapped on my fingers trying to retrieve that frag, without luck; it's well under the rockwork in the shrimp's burrow).

Not really planning on buying anything today, as I need to care for my budget and budget space in my tanks. If I see a nice deal on a stag, however....

I actually really like this setup. I've been able to get more pieces that I want from this sale compared to others where you click a link directly to the coral. In that other format, everything I've tried to grab is always gone immediately. I'm sure adding an extra layer probably helps keep those bots from grabbing all the $5 coral.
