@uniquecorals couple of questions - any mushrooms in the sale? Any plans to bring back Aussie Live Rock?
Hi Bugsy, we have quite a few Yuma and Rhodactis lined up in this sale, they will be uploaded to the site in the next few posts and throughout the rest of the sale- aside from the sale we have a plethora of mushrooms available on our WYSIWYG page at great deals, in fact here is a link to our mushroom page:)

We brought in this last batch of live rock with the mindset that this would be the last live rock imported for a while. After a few weeks and tons of inquiries we have decided to continue regular import of Aussie live rock. Please PM us your name, number and email so we may add you to our Aussie Live Rock Waitlist

Nanos are awesome! one of my first reef tanks was a 20g, this may not be super nano but it was definitely a learning experience. One of the most rewarding feeling is seeing all the coral grow and eventually take over your nano tank.

What lighting are you upgrading to? A quick tip is that it is always better to start at a low intensity when switching lights, see how your corals react then raise the intensity as need be slowly over time
Sorry, was off doing my weekly maintenance on the tank.

I have a Fluval evo 13.5 which is my first saltwater tank. I currently have a Fluval marine 3.0 light on the tank. Just upgraded the return pump and waiting for my RFG. I had a powerhead in there but I think it was a bit much for such a small tank.. haha.

I am going to keep an eye out, maybe I can get some deals on some easier starter corals.
I just got onto of an algae issue so I think its time to get some corals back in again :)

Any suggestions on some ones that might be ok with my current lighting and good for a nano?
yes you can definelty get away with most corals in the softie family such as Zoanthids, Mushrooms, Clove Polyps, Xenia, Green Star Polyps and more

keep in mind corals such as Green Star Polyps and Xenia grow fast so you will likely want to isolate them otherwise they do have the potential to take over your rock scape. Once you begin dosing or if you already dosing you can try out some easier LPS like Duncan coral, Lords, Trumpet Corals and chalice
