I'm a little confused now... Gymothorax nigromarginatus, saxicola, and ocellatus all pull up the same photos on Google. They all are called the same things; Black Edge, Honeycomb and Ocellated... I've seen some things that the Black Edge is very aggressive, where the Ocellated is not... hmm, oh well research for another time.

I had a dwarf golden on order a few months back but I have 1 super small gobie I was worried about so cancelled the order for now.
I have a very small tail spot blenny that would be an easy snack... golden dwarves won't bother your fish.

Went by the LFS today. No Aquatic Life fixtures in stock, but we got coral. Yes, I have an addiction. I can't walk out of the LFS without coral. So what did we get? Well, we got one meaty chunk of Idaho Grape monti and a Hyacinth Birds Nest. I was in a purple mood...

Yea, it's palm sized. Only paid $40 for it. I hope I can hang in to it. Should be good as it's a nice size and my frag tank is stable now. I killed two blue polyp green montis in the past with alk swings.

The hyacinth has better PE now. You can see a few green polyps scattered on its base. It keeps these few green polyps as it grows out purple tips. It's an amazing looking colony.

love the interaction of the feeding. I have a couple of clowns that will eat pellets out of my fingers but obviously nothing like that. The head shaking is quite interesting, I almost though he was stuck when he first shook. That Wrasse is gorgeous too! Great color in him! Now I’m sitting here thinking of names....

I was thinking Barry Allen, because The Flash and he's a flasher wrasse... but he's red and purple. Not red and yellow. After that I've just come up blank... The clowns are Bonnie and Clyde because they were a terror in my 75g. They ganged up and chased everything including the 4" Atlantic tang. So far they've been passive as can be in The Deep Blue Sea.

I think we're going to call him Barry Allen regardless that he's got purple color. His side's have a hint of yellow when he's displaying full colors. I've been contemplating getting another species of flasher so they'll display for each other... I think I've become a wrasse man. I've been looking at a lot of wrasse lately.

Hey buddy. Are you sure that's a hyacinth?

Birdsnests confuse me.

Here is the mother colony. I was told it was hyacinth.

Also, anyone have a positive ID on this stuff. I think Blue Clove Polyps, but it looks a bit different than most images of it. Specifically, the green on the "petals."
