Since we are talking about lfs. We’ve been there twice today. Pulled a flame angel who was terrorizing my fowlr tank. I’ll have pics in a few. Let’s just say I jumped into the deep end.

You guys convinced me to buy a wrasse. It’s my first one. Wife found it and best part free.

Wooooo!!! More wrasse addicts. As evolved says, "Admitting you are addicted to wrasse is the first step to buying another wrasse."
That line was priceless! Such a helpful write up.

I've read it a few times. I actually think I'm close to adding another wrasse. Probably a pin tail next week if he has any more. Just tested nitrates with my current bioload and just the refugium lit by the Curve LED for 16 hours... no reactor and no changes to filtration in a week or better. Feeding 1/2oz of phyto(need to start culturing that stuff), 1ml(ish) oysterfeast, and one asprin pill size piece of LRS a day. I think I'm about to go up to 1oz phyto and 2ml of oysterfeast. If I'm here and awake, I'll feed just a few pellets around noon (tank AM) just because of the dietary needs of my wrasse. High metabolism and all. The clowns are lazy and swim much slower and need less food, although they would disagree. He still looks plump and healthy, and nobody is bothering him so his colors are awesome.

I think he needs a name.

Isn't that build amazing? Have you seen his talk at MACNA?

Just a shame that he lost most of his coral. :(
