I am thankful for my acrylic tank to hold my purple tang.

I am thankful for each and every single microbe that dwells in my tank. They cycle nutrients and stuff that makes the coral happy.

I am thankful for the microbes that are eating detritus and then being eaten by my corals. I wish more people were useful like my tanks wonderful microbes.

I am thankful for the unnatural diversity of the microbes in my reef tank. I suspect I have Caribbean, South Pacific, and Southern California oceanic microbes that keep things running smoothly.

I am thankful for the light on my reef tank. I got it from a person on here who carefully packed it up and shipped it to me in the mail.

I am thankful that I have a reef tank to be thankful for.

I am thankful for the protein skimmers on my fish and reef tanks.

I am thankful for the mulm made in my tanks that is collected in my skimmer cups. I dump it in potted plant pots and hope that it makes the plants grow.

I am thankful that my nose is desensitized to the mulm smell. I am thankful that I can collect the mulm from my fish tanks without suffering the insult to my nose that other people with high functioning noses suffer when they get a whiff of my mulm cups.

I am thankful for the corals that survive when I forget to check the parameters or go away on long working trips.

I am thankful that my tanks have been stable for a long time.

I am thankful that my reef tank seems to be doing alright after many years of neglect following an AEFW spell.

I am thankful that my fish tank was for sale at a huge discount when I got it. I love saving dough for more important things like food and livestock.

I am thankful that my garage tank has a pair of tomato clownfish.

I am thankful that the tomato clownfish have learned not to charge and bite bleeding holes in my hands and arms with I am working in their tank.

I am thankful for the algae grazers in my systems that keep the unwanted algae from covering up the corals.

I am thankful for having reef and fish tanks for many years now.
