Tunze 3 ATO shoots water too fast - nano

Hi!

I just set up a reef casa isla peninsula 12. After rocks and sand, it’s around 9-10 gallons of water.

I bought a Tunze 3 for my ato. The problem is that it shoots water way too fast for my nano. By the time the sensor senses it should stop, it’s slightly overfilled so the sensor turns red

What can I add to my to slow the flow?

What kind of tubing are you using? Do you know what diameter it is?

This is from Bulk Reef Supply - Tubing Diameter: 6mm OD | 3.9mm ID

I just bought a Ball Valve - 1/4" Mur-lok x 1/4" Mur-lok Inline Push Connect. Hopefully that works

The nano 3152 would probably have been a better choice.

I saw it but I wanted to go with the newer technology. I had a controller failure on the first go around and Tunze sent me a new controller. I addressed this issue and then they told me they were releasing the Tunze 3 in a nano format soon lol

Here's another method you can use too if you want to not put too much stress on your pump by restricting it too much.
