I wasn't sure if you wanted me to actually stat posting quotes and such, because that is what should be done to answer you. Lots of unnecessary work. I would have to write an article and it's all there in the videos.
You will need to find time to watch, sorry. Part of the deal learning about reef tanks.
Besides, any quote would most likely be followed by the time in the video, and you would listen to it anyway. I also don't have time to write all that. I'm sorry.

Watch at least Tullio's interview with Reefbum. Tullio covers all light sources and explains lighting in an easy understandable way for anyone. It's like watching a one hour TV show.......................have you ever watched your TV for an hour?

It had 3 X 400w metal halides as primary lights and 2 X 100w Ecoxotic Cannon LEDs for supplemental. Enjoy!
