How I wish it was Tuesday! I want to pick up Jennifier's tank!

When we get it back here, are there any of you strapping gents that can help MyWifesACrab get it up the stairs? We'll get it onto the truck at Jennifier's, if someone can just help on this side, and he'll even fire up the grill! Or make hot chicken, or order pizza. Whichever the volunteers want. This is the Volunteer State, right?

I don't have anything special in the way of corals so I'm sure offering frags isn't enticing. One of these days!

Tomorrow is the day. 8 stairs is all I'm worried about dealing with. Carl? Mel? Rhett? Anyone local? I'll loan you MyWifesACrab for every project you ever get!

what size is the tank and what time do we need to be there?

It's a 135 Oceanic and we can be flexible on time--it would be better to do it in the late afternoon to early evening to give us time to get out to Jennifier's and get it. Have no idea how long teardown will take since it'll be just us two there and there are some fish to catch. But beggars can't be choosers--tell us what time you have available and we'll MAKE it happen!

I'm not able to do any lifting, But i would help where i can but Erika has Strep Throat and I have been exposed! I will be baby sitting again tomorrow until 4:00PM, If i can be of any help LMK??

I'll leave it up to you whether you'd like to come. We're all adults and know how to reduce exposure to stuff so I'd not be worried. So it'll depend on how you feel ok?

Well, I can't budge the tank, and we already had packed up all the corals, rocks, etc and drained it. So we brought back all the live things and set them up in two 55 gallons with powerheads and light, and I've yet to set heaters in them for the night coz it's getting a little cold some nights. But we really need to get this tank out of Jennifier's house so if anyone has any ideas, she'd like it moved like tomorrow early and I've called Ebay to see if they can move it but of course they're closed so may not get the message til tomorrow afternoon. Does anyone know a mover experienced with aquariums maybe? I know you all work and it would be impossible to get it done til the weekend.

We need one guy. Dennis called his son who will be here at 8 am. I have a son that's not as strong but an extra and tall pair of hands. One more guy would really do it! If I go I won't be a lot of help and have to take the grandsons, so ideally one more guy would be best. Fingers crossed!

We've just gotten back and the tank is on the truck. That's a major step. We'll still need help to get it upstairs but there isn't as much of a rush at this point so a huge relief. It still is better for the corals the sooner we do it the better but they're ok in the 2 55G tanks we set up for holding. This is not a project we want to do every day is it? What a hobby. Have to love it. HAVE to!!!
