Going on 2 months now, I posted full pics of the progress and cycle tested a bit earlier here about 30 mins ago
Probably don't want to add a $200 mushroom.

Zoa's and shrooms are definitely good starting points at this early stage if you want to add some easy corals, but I wouldn't spend too much just in case. If you're wanting something, here's a couple of semi hardy choices for not too much.

Just remember, even these can die if there not enough nutrition and light for them.

Thank you for the zoa and shroom recommendation! I want to have a good bit of those in here, with a zoa and shroom garden.

Is my set up not good enough for LPS ? I have an AI prime and reef roofs at hand. I was hoping to even try easy sps down the line.

Just joining the party... just got my 5 gal nano fully cycled. Cant wait to snag some deals hopefully freeshipping too to start this project! Running AI Prime 16HD with chaeto fuge in the AIO as well as sponge filter, carbon white mesh filter, and Inkbird automated temp control with heater and chiller since the weather goes up and down in SC and I rarely use AC
Sorry I missed this one! Keep in mind the Chaeto wants to strip your nutrients out of the water. Most corals rely on some nutrients.

i guess it would not be a bad idea to wait longer to see how the Softies do!
Best idea. Start with some easy softies, and once you see growth in those, then take the next step. Biggest mistake abd bad habit you can start is rushing. Patience is key.
