What does everyone feed there corals? I dose AB+ every other day. Just didn’t know if there is some better food out there

I do AB+ on MWF, along with live phyto.

But I really think the key to growth is stability and pH. I was away for vacation for 10 days. The tank wasn't fed, but obviously there's no CO2 in the entire house during that time and no hands in the tank. I was expecting to see a bit of a mess when I came back, but the tank was actually spotless. Algae was minimal, sandbed was clean, corals were happy, and BIGGER. The encrusting SPS had spread out a bit more, every zoa had 2-3 more polyps, every micro lord had babies. The only thing that didn't grow was the favia. Favia's gonna Favia, I guess.

Or maybe I just handn't seen my tank in a while and my mind was exaggerating what I saw.

I’ve been using AB+ And noticed a big improvement. I do have brs reef chili but have only used it twice. Mainly because when I got it, I was fighting algae after a previous 90 day fallow period. I just have not rotated it into the routine yet.

I’ve thought about reef chili, but I have also noticed a big difference with AB+ so I haven’t wanted to change anything

Do you guys kill the flow at all when you dose it? Wondering if carbon absorbs it as it goes through the filtration system.

I really think tank maturity has a part as mine is turning 1 yr old soon.. but I had bought a fruity pebbles monti in august last year and it got to extremely bad shape, fast forward since starting AB+ a month ago, and you can see the difference from November to now. It’s coming back!! Also a rainbow monti I have is getting its multi colors back!

I don’t, I pour acouple mL infront of the wave maker to let it mix throughout the tank. But I’m also kinda a newbie so idk if I would take my tactics haha

I just turn off my skimmer for 30 min and pour it in front of a gyre pump

Wow that is a big difference! My tank is coming up on 6months so it still has some maturing to do!
