Looking at automation. Mostly so that something doesn't go very wrong before I can catch it. Thinking Hydros given that it needs to be in the cabinet of my Red Sea 170 and not in a separate space away from splashes and salt/humidity. Wish the X10 was on sale as I would like to automate alkalinity testing.

I recently purchased hydros x4, xp8 kit online from TSA actually! I love it. Soon added a wave engine v2. I recommend the hydros setup!

I have been eyeing a rollermat for some time, can't decide if another piece of gear to maintain is better than just tossing floss every 2 or 3 days

I will say the we get a lot of great feedback on roller mats. I am actually thinking of putting one on my nano tank lol

Good to hear. A lot of negative reviews on some of the alternatives, especially in damp environments. Really want the X10 and iv to automate alkalinity testing. I'd like to get a better handle on how that's changing throughout the day.
