This is completley unrelated but since you're in a fairly remote place in Alaska, how do you get reef livestock to you? I live in rural Ontario, in a place around 2 hours from Toronto and most stores have trouble shipping stuff to me?

I’m not as remote as some people up here. I live about a hour north of anchorage. We just watch the weather before shipping as well. Plus the use of the heat packs helps a lot. Some people hear alaska and just say nope we don’t ship there. But it goes to show you how much care tsa puts into it being that far away. They ship here and corals make it just fine.

Wow! That was unexpected. Thank you so much. I’ve already started on my list (and checking it twice) of corals I’m thinking I can’t live without. I’m in trouble cause it’s up to over 20 all ready. going to be a fun weekend.

I hear you Stoney. Really need them. Urchins and Turbo snails are tag teaming grabbing frags and moving them. I never like to talk about removing a bad character from my tank, but one of the urchins had to fly west. He was the worst about liking to make hats out of frags. Last week he had three frags on his back and that was the last straw. May he rest in peace.

I may want to ask you to rebuild both of them all together. When I ask you to make them hang shorter, I over did it. I can only raise the lights to 340 PAR on my top ledge because the frag racks are getting 475 PAR. They need to be about two inches longer so the level/PAR is closer my top rocks where the acros are. We can talk later when I get back in your list of projects. In the picture you can see they are about 3” above the rock level. I thought that would work, but with the diffusers on the lights, they are getting blasted even on the edge of the tank.

Take hangers off, use the panel, I could print a sheet of TPU, and another PTEG. PTEG/TPU/PTEG
The TPU is semi flexible, so it would be like other locking frack racks and look like this.
