So what got everyone in to the hobby??

Used to be a divemaster on Grand Cayman.... Moved home again to New England, but couldn't take the reef with me. Until recently.

I'd always wanted a reef tank, and just never did it. I'd had some freshwater tanks as a kid, and didn't like maintaining them. Around my oldest kid's 3rd birthday he really got into Nemo. So we got him 2 clowns for his birthday in a 3 gallon. I liked messing with the tank and it went from there.

My wife had saltwater tanks since she was a kid, and i always had freshwater, so i gave it a shot and loved it. Funny thing is I don't have a single freshwater tank anymore

Had 1 freshwater and 2 salt.. then we moved and all the fish went into a 5g bucket for the night. This genius didn't adjust the heater, so they were fish stew by the morning.
