Why I have a bunch of experienced reefers here I would ask some advice.
I have a 400 gallon main tank and 50 gallon sump. All parameters are “ideal” as I dose.
I keep my alk high (11.5) and my nitrates are undetectable.
I have a mixed tank with only one or two acros and mostly LPS and montis.
I dose Red Sea Na3-PO4-X and was thinking of decreasing my already low dose. What level of nitrates do you find is best.

In our farm we shoot for 10 to 15 for nitrates. We get the best color and growth at those levels.

With high alk I think you definitely would be looking at that 10-20 range nitrates. Even with lower alk having nitrates measurable has definitely been more successful for me. I like nitrate around 10
