So I ordered my first blue corals yesterday. Got the blue torch and the tricolor valida. How do these look under the blue lights in a tank overall? Are the blue colors really visible under blue lights?

There has to be a better way to sell corals...I hate picking a coral, go to check out and find somebody else got it faster than me. Oh well, back to the LFS

do you have to wait to unbox them to see what they are or do they send you a message telling you?

You have to wait until they arrive. They will all be labeled

honestly the blue light spectrum varies soo much that you wont really know until you get it in your own tank. It could either make the blue pop more or make it blend in with the light only time will tell

This is actually a lot of fun, and very successful. You need to not order 50 things at once. If you find a good deal, get it and go back for other stuff later.

Believe it our not, this is how they actually have to buy their corals. They have to buy and bid on stuff in this crazy format.

Once you get the hang of it, it’s not that difficult. You have to go into it with an open mind. I’ve added a bunch of corals to my tanks which I never would have bought on my own.
