ive been having issues setting up the app for this light in the last few days and wanted to check if anyone has any experience with this one, as its stands the app cannot find ot connect to wifi or the device

have tried this and it did not solve it, ive sent in a support ticket to maxspectI needed to disable the 5 GHz connection on my router and just use the 2.4 GHz.
Mine allowed me to disable it for 15 minutes which was time enough to connect the light.
Assuming you can find it on the app, find out what router you have and Google how you switch from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz then try connecting. Once its connected you can just turn the 5 GHz back on if your router doesn't automatically come back on
