I’ve recently decided to start dosing the tropic Marin mag and I need a little help understanding this

Is this showing I need 2.42 scoops per day for the 8.5 days to meet the number I’m wanting to achieve?

After that is it suggesting to continue at that rate or then re run the calculator to see what it suggest?

Tropic Marin Biomagnesium is not, IMO, the best way to correct low magnesium. It adds more than just magnesium, but is a little vague on exactly what that other stuff is and why it is there.

In general, I'm also not a fan of measuring and dosing magnesium due to the great incidence of magnesium test errors, but that's a different issue. Have you used that same kit on some new salt water?

That said, I'd follow these directions if you choose to use it for the rise you are asking about:

"The addition of one measuring spoon of Tropic Marin® Bio-Magnesium increases the magnesium content by about 10 mg/l per 100 l (26 gallons) of water."

In your case, you want to add 22 scoops, and to spread it out over a number of days (exact number of days is not important).
