My concern is that someone ran the test, pulled up the results which included zeros that would under most circumstances should indicate an error, and then sent them along without any alarm, or retesting. They packaged up those results and sent them along to the customer as valid.

I wouldn't want my testing company delivering that kind of service.

They re-ran the test after claiming an "upload error"

The second vial came back with a value of 212 mg/l.

This is still super low. I ordered a salifert K test and just ran it and it gave me a value of 340ppm.

Any idea which I should trust more?

Hard to know, but even 212 ppm seems to be below what almost anyone else has ever reported here that I have seen. 340 ppm sounds more plausible. Maybe it is spot on at 400 ppm. lol

I bought some potassium chloride to dose, think I should try to bring it up to 400 and assume the salifert is correct? That way even if triton is right, I'm adding _some_ but not too much

Adding 60 ppm sounds fine. Even if it is 400 now, 460 ppm is no apparent issue that I know of.
