Transfering copepod population?

So I have a small 9.7g tank that has quite a big pod population, is there a good way to use them to seed my main display? They are kind of just going to waste in the small tank and I have a couple pod eating fish that could benefit from added population. I do already have a pod culture but thought this could be even better. Could I place macroalgae into the small tank then move it over to the sump on dt after a certain amount of time or something?

I’ve seen some people use a loofa, like the body washing kind to transfer pods. Could also find a small net if they are out swimming.

Amphipods would work for macro algae. Copepods you would have to transfer your rock work and substrate as they prefer that over macro algea

Poseidon Reef has a sump version of their pod nest. You could look into sinking one of those into the tank for a while and transfer it over so long as you aren't worried about any cross contamination of any kind
