So in my tank, last summer my setosa colony and other sps corals does because of a pump failure whilst I was away for a week (even my rainbow chalice frag ) but I still have a bunch of lps and zoa's etc. When I had sps I would do weekly or sometimes (rarely) biweekly waterchanges to replenish trace.
However since then I gave up on sps and do little to no water changes and only switch water through drip acclimation. I replenish alk/calcium through kalk and use a autodoser for my/cal(barely any). I don't notice any problem the last 1.5months but will this be a problem for my corals? My tank is 3yo since last months with only 3 fishes so nutrients aren't an issue.
