Hey guys. I have a hellfire that has been a bit smaller then usual lately and im wondering if it looks like its splitting to you all and if its common to lose size and vibrance when doing so.i circled where i believe it looks like 2 heads are now turning to 2 each. all my params are stable and have been for the most part other then undetectable phos for a few days an a small amount of dinos that have since been resolved,

Yes the splitting process takes a few weeks and during so they don’t extend as much and colors shift slightly.

You can wiggle the torch to make it close up and look at the polyps, you should notice what’s called pinching, where the center of the polyp is pinching inwards in the middle, like the number 8

It definitely could be splitting and looks like is has started the process with a few heads.

The part that has me concerned is the right head in your picture looks to have the flesh receding and a different color.

You say bottomed out phos and attacked dinos at the same time. What did you use to get rid of the dinos?

Torches will "quick" split in a last ditch effort before they start to bail.

Can you get a better picture of the flesh just to rule this out?
