The only thing about feeding these is it's just so hard to determine if it's actually doing anything positive for my fish and coral outside of my standard feed.
I feel it's. I've been feeding rotifers and it feels like I'm doing nothing.

Daily Video Bonus: I really enjoy Tara's talks on pods. I always learn something from them. I knew Apocyclops were good for filter feeders and coral but never thought about their application in larval rearing.

Daily Bonus Video Entry:

I learned that some copepods are surface dwellers and some water dwellers - had no idea and would make sense to have a variety- but expensive since the water dwellers are def going to go out drain and get filtered out.

When it comes to pods I think diversity is the best option. I like that the Apocyclops swim around making them great food for lots of fish and other animals.

being free-swimming, what is the danger posed by filtration systems to them breeding in the home aquarium.
I think what he was saying is the danger is more that they'll end up in the filtration and end up being removed by skimmers etc.
