I think this is sorta what we all strive for being a mixed tank. I love the scoly garden and all the rainbow coral. My goal is this but bigger! This started out as my husband's hobby but I love marine life and scuba diving So I'm thinking a tank big enough I can put my ear pods in, scuba gear and have cleaning time! Ha

Daily entry bonus:
Definitely different aquascape in his reef, packed with corals. I think I spotted a colony of the TSA Banger in there!

It's always a pain when a fish goes rouge and just munches on coral.

This tank seems really congested. As things grow bigger lots of warfare and restricted flow to come in my belief.

Daily video entry: Thank you TSA!
I was 'this close' to buying a juvenile panther grouper before i found out how big they get. Now that I'm setting up a 120 FOWLR it may be back on the list.

LOL! I saw the title and focused on "Talking Fish" and my first thought was, "Wait, Groupers talk? This i gotta see!"

This is such a a cool series since, as mentioned, fish are all so different from each other. Focusing on individual groups of fish and their care is a great idea.

You don't see many groupers at my LFS, get a lot of Basslets though which Taras didn't actually talk about.

They are cool fish but I’ll never have one. I prefer fish in my tank that won’t eat everyone else.

I wish he would have gone through the different species of groupers that they sell or have available for reef systems.

The question I have is should shops be selling fish that get as big as a house? What is someone going to do with that thing once it outgrows the aquarium? Not like you can just walk up to your local public aquarium and throw him in their tanks.

Yes, but there are people that have massive tanks that might want something that big. There are also public aquariums that will accept fish as a "surrender" similar to dog rescues. I agree, that's not ideal but there are options out there.
