I already have a maxspect gyre and if the only difference is the software that's not a selling point for me. After I spent 20 min setting mine up I haven't needed to open the app again.

How do you prevent a pump like this from pulling gunk off the bottom of the sump? I know mine has a bunch of loose detritus in it

THE DRAWING
Entries will be accepted through March 31, 2024. We will choose the winners via a random number generator. The winners will be announced on a live video stream by @BlaineTopShelfAquatics on April 1, 2024 and will also have their usernames tagged in this thread. We will not email or contact the winners other than tagging the winning names. Be sure to check back to claim your prize. If it is not claimed within 3 days we will do a re-pick and so on until the prize is claimed.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Winners will be responsible for shipping cost. Contest is restricted to participants in the Continental US. Participants can only win once, so multiple packages cannot be won by the same person. Travel cost and dates for grand prize will need to be coordinated with Top Shelf Aquatics based on availability and TSA's discretion.

I like the gyre pumps but I wish they would make one that could automatically turn the direction of the flow without me having to adjust the thing by hand.

Daily bonus: AI has been good to me. Running Nero 3 and a Blade grow light. Both controlled by the app. I will likely get the new Axis pump down the road. Seems like it could help a lot with dead spots

In their previous videos about their nano tanks they kept swapping out the stock pump with a Sicce. Any reason they didn't use an Orbit?
