I have come to realize that my top down photos pretty much suck! I wanted to see what you all are using and iff you could post a sample pic. I am looking at getting a photo box and weighing my options on other ideas. Show me your best!

I turn off all the pumps and PH's. I have a tripod that will flip over the top of the tank and allow me to angle the camera down. My lens is literally 1-2 inches from the water surface. I then manually focus to my liking. Then I use a remote to trigger the shutter and take the pic. Since I am using a remote and there is no movement in the tank, I use a long shutter speed or ARP priority mode.

Thanks everyone! Keep'em coming. Remember to list your method as well.

Thanks. No box and I moved a couple of them closer but not all. I am using the 100mm macro lens though.
