Hello!
Does anyone have any first had experience with dosing TM's Reef Actif? With my tank being relatively young (~ 2 months) it seems to be a good idea to start feeding my bacteria to strengthen the bio-diversity.

Is there any reason I should not start dosing this stuff slowly?

It's an organic carbon dosing product. I'm not sure there's a benefit from increased biodiversity, or even an actualization of biodiversity increase when dosing it.

I use it, it is mild form of carbon dosing. I didn’t observe anything negative, when using it corals seem happier but that could be caused by other things.

If you have corals in the tank you can try it. The idea is to feed the bacteria so corals can feed on the bacteria. Other carbon sources do similar things.

I am not sure about the biodiversity and if you don’t have corals yet I am not sure if there are benefits. Just my opinion.
