Oh, you can add Unique Corals to that list, their prices are ALWAYS high to me, but I've had some of the best success with their pieces, and that counts.

and that’s why I’m waiting for FHC hereIve seen what's going on and have been tracking various vendors to try to stick with one or two as there are so many out there.
For me- NONE !!! I will buy from private parties or patiently wait for other RAP and MACNA shows.
Over the last 18 weeks, prices have gone up 36-39% with certain vendors (cant say names) and THESE SO CALLED BLACK FRIDAY AND XMAS DEALS are a joke- prices have jumped to as much as 50%.
MERRY XMAS TO THE VENDORS BECAUSE ITS NOT US !!
BE CAREFUL FOLKS AND NOT JUMP ON SOMETHING VIA IMPULSE BUT SHOP CAREFULLY. These 10%-20% off are merely off increased prices- Such a Shame !!
I owned an LFS and realize mark-up, profit margins and expenses but would not do this to my customers who work hard for their money. Very disappointed (but not fooled)
I was in their live chat the other night and they legit gave out $100 coupon codes multiple times. I got in on it. So I do think their giveaway is legit. I got a Neptune ATO for free with my order last time.I learned my lesson last year ordering from brs during their Black Friday trying to get something more than $10 gift card. I would order more than one item pushing my luck with I MUST HAVE THIS.
sadly 4 orders and all $10
learned my lesson this year to order things for long term.
ordering filter roller rolls that will never go bad this time
110% agree. I like brs for their education of the hobby and they product line. It’s my go to place.I was in their live chat the other night and they legit gave out $100 coupon codes multiple times. I feel you pain on the price of Torch's. I have a Cotton Candy I purchased a year ago that was a single head for $89.99 from one of my LFS's and I actually felt $100 per head in todays market is a good deal but I didn't know for sure so I looked up some of the top sellers online and found that the $200 for two heads may be a good deal for you. Without mentioning names these prices are some of what I found for a SINGLE HEAD Cotton Candy: $249.99, $169.49, $156 and $139.99. Shipping not included. I did see a single head on eBay for $69.99 but that's eBay and it looked in bad shape. Only one was shown in stock and that was the $249.99. Wondering if these are becoming hard to come by.

Making up for pandemic losses...Can someone explain to me why costs have gone through the roof for businesses and now they have to pass that cost to consumers? During the pandemic, I understand. Now that pandemic is over, what's going on?? It's always one thing or another...someone is getting rich here...question is who???
I’m going with a reef creation, awesome sales and pricing to me is top notch, especially when you can go to their shopWhich brings us back to the original question which vendors can we trust to give fair pricing compared to bogus discounts?
@reefcleaners for snailsAdam at Battlecorals, TCK hasn't disappointed me yet. Noopsyche... At a loss for any others
I can deal with the cost of business. I can't deal with the sneaky way of suddenly raising prices over 30-45 days to "lower" them as a deal.Sounds like by the same percentage that inflation and fuel/shipping prices are up. You’ll probably notice this kind of price increase across the board, not just on luxury items like corals.
I guess we just have bad luck. I never win anything so no surprise really. They got me last year and the one before that. How can I use that $10 when I just stocked up and they expire before I need them again.I learned my lesson last year ordering from brs during their Black Friday trying to get something more than $10 gift card. I would order more than one item pushing my luck with I MUST HAVE THIS.

I feel that should be earned not bought. That sort of defeats the ethical part of it if you just pay to play.Sounds like we need an 'Ethical Coral Vendor' badge. Make it cost something like $100 a month to weed out the not ethical ones!
Noopsyche just raised the prices for their lights, then posted a code for 39% off on their FB page. Which brings the price back to the original price. How can they call it a "sale" then.Adam at Battlecorals, TCK hasn't disappointed me yet. Noopsyche... At a loss for any others

Can you blame them though? It's a classic marketing sales tactic that's shown to work...Noopsyche just raised the prices for their lights, then posted a code for 39% off on their FB page. Which brings the price back to the original price. How can they call it a "sale" then.
