I’m curious what do others do …
Every year the time changes 2 times .
do others adjust the timers twice so the lights come on at the same time or set it for forget it ?
For example set the timers for standard time and when daylight savings starts the lights would come on and stay on 1 hour later

I might shift them so they don't shut off earlier in the evening....but my internal clock stays the same I was up 7.....I mean 6 this am and will probably be going to sleep at 9 pm when the tank lights will be shutting off now...

I don’t get home during the week until almost 7
It’s nice to see the tank with lights on but I also want my living room to be dark before I go to bed .
My internal clock had me up at 6:30 am and same as you . I’ll be snoring by around 9

Leave it as is.
Not going to lie I freak out this morning when I went downstairs and saw the light off. Recently my Hydra took a dump and I’m currently using an old prime so when I saw the lights off I freaked thinking not again, lol.

Yeah, it will just change the time with the time zone which is listed below date and time under setting at least on AI.
These features are not part of a diy t5 fixture .
Between digital and the old flip tab style timers . As long as the power never goes out they hold the time fairly well .

Wouldn’t the lights have been on sooner than you expected them to be if you forgot about the time change?

My CoralCare fixtures and Radions set themselves, but I have to set the timers on my Reef Brites manually.

All auto here. The equipment that need timers are connected to cheap smart plugs. They are cheaper than mechanical timers and have been working perfectly for 2 years now. Even set a couple up in my parents chicken coops. I love these things
