The lid is pretty much done needs a few touch ups on the grinder. I still may glue on a handle at the top

I ended up finding mesh at Walmart for $1.50 and super glued around the plastic

Looking lovely in here. How are you liking the newly designed lid and how has it improved tank temps and PH levels if any?

Thank you! I love the lid my tank never goes above 78 fans kick on then drops right back down I’ve been averaging atm around 76.8

The mesh doesn’t really mess with the lighting so that’s good

And when I do my top offs and add my trace elements I just Poor it right through the mesh lol

I havent tested my ph in awhile now but I’m sure it’s okay I have good surface movement

Made a big change to my tank got rid of a bunch of soft coral on my sand Bed to create a mushroom corner and a Zoa garden with travertine squares
