I could use another coffee.Need more coffee. I didn't expect the pace TG is throwing these updates out.
so just stay in 8-12 range?
I'm with you!! Been waiting almost a year to have the tank good enough to do a TG purchase justice!
I would just second-guess everything, if I did thatDoes anyone ever go back in time on youtube and see how things have changed over the years? I watched a video the other day that said to keep your acros at 72F for best coloration!?!?
Not horrible advice actually. Lower issues with bacteria at lower temperatures.Does anyone ever go back in time on youtube and see how things have changed over the years? I watched a video the other day that said to keep your acros at 72F for best coloration!?!?

What kinds of bacteria would the lower temps affect? Would it limit fish illness?
That's what I like to shoot for. Though... in my big tank, I like to see the range smaller. like 9-10. But it's a lot harder to change the needle on 200 gallons than it is for 1 gallon
What is in your opinion, the biggest unsolved mystery in reefing today? It is incredible. I'm hoping to talk about two scientific articles from 2019 and 2023 when we record the next reef receipts. And to talk specifically about how much knowledge has developed in that small range. and how some coral stuff is still a mystery. lol
I'm a nurse.... Bacteria like warm and wet.... Just about all of them are affected by temps. There's a reason why hospitals, especially operating rooms are always chilly!!What kinds of bacteria would the lower temps affect? Would it limit fish illness?
