I'm late to this party. Got back into the hobby in 2020 but haven't made the time to post my build until now. I'll add more details over the coming days.

Is that a 3d printed roller mat?? Nice setup!
Thank you, Yes that is a 3d printed roller mat. Just built and installed it about a month ago. I began by reviewing other threads on R2R. I copied one and modified it to suit my needs. Still fine tuning a little but it is working great. The mods I made were to increase the size of the fleece roll to 8 inches wide and some minor changes so it fits my 29 gallon DIY sump.

Hello, just stumbled across your tank searching for ideas. I'm thinking about doing just about the same setup. I'm upgrading from a 75g AIO. I'm already running 2 noops on my current tank and was trying to see if people were getting by with 3 or 4 were needed.

Was looking into the 125, will diy the stand and sump as well.

I am very satisfied with 3 of the noo-psych K7's on the 6 ft long 125. My tank is not rimless, so two cross members on the rim divides the tank into 3 sections. Four lights would be a difficult placement since the cross members would block some of the light. Anyways, I get adequate PAR from 3.

I enjoy DIY, and the stand and sump were no-brainers. My stand is bare bones, but could easily be covered with a variety of materials to give it a more professional look. I wish you luck!

Makes sense, I didn't see the tank yet in person so I didn't see the placement of the top supports. 3 it is!

My stand will be the same, except I will have to skin it and add doors, because kids.

I'm hoping to also have one side openable for sump replacement if ever needed. This will be my first sump'd tank so it's all learn as I go.
