My Tank Thread
My Aquarium Showcase
Hey everyone, and happy Tuesday!
I have recently found that in my nano tank, my nitrates are slowly creeping up, so I wanted to look into ways to help maintain and lower them, but while not stripping my tank of nutrients.
As I was researching, I found that a mangrove would be a good option for my tank, as they grow slow so they don't take to much nutrients from the water. I also like the looks of them better, than most macroalgae.
My tank has a lid, so it would be impossible to grow one in my DT, but I do have an overflow, that may work.
I have read that mangrove roots are strong enough to break glass, but I am not sure if that is true.
If anyone has any ideas on how I can grow a mangrove in my tank, please let me know!
