what ratio are you dosing for in tank treatment?I would personally just setup a 5 gallon bucket or rubbermaid bin and dip. This stuff will kill pods and other beneficial life.
I wouldn't dose in tank. Reef legends answered about thouwhat ratio are you dosing for in tank treatment?

I don't hate that option. You will likely see some effect on life.understood, but im kinda of out of options. Less than half the rock work is easily removeable (aka not big cemented structures)...the other option is high dose fluconazole.
You can restock the pod population. I think it will have + and - with any treatment.to be honest, the dip is way easier to get than the amount of fluconazole id need for a 220g.
im torn, but also not sure id have an issue losing pods and such...
Look my threads on microdosing Fluconazole. I did three doses over the course of a momtg or so at 20% strength and it got rid of a massive hair algae outbreak which was growing on every inch of my rockwork which was getting light. Others have done even a smaller dose and found success.to be honest, the dip is way easier to get than the amount of fluconazole id need for a 220g.

hair algae and bubble (valonia) are VERY different. bubble treatment rec is 4x the normal fluconazole doseLook my threads on microdosing Fluconazole. @slingfox - can you provide more information on microdosing fluconazole? I tried searching for your posts on this but the only thread that came up was this one. How much would you use to just dip coral frags with this? or how much should you measure the dip. I used the dip on my rock work which did a good job, Now I am working on getting rid of cyno's on some frags.Yes sir. I love this dip. Use it all the time.
I usually use a stronger mix than recommended. But, his 1 to 5 guidelines works. How much would you use to just dip coral frags with this? or how much should you measure the dip. I used the dip on my rock work which did a good job, Now I am working on getting rid of cyno's on some frags.
what do you personally do. I did the 1 to 5 and it did get some off the frags but I was looking to use a stronger mix. of maybe a 2-3 instead. Its just soley for frags btwI usually use a stronger mix than recommended. But, his 1 to 5 guidelines works.
I do 50 /50 with much lps and zoas myself . Prob 1 to 4ish with sps. I can't recommend 50/50 because it's strong, but, I've lost very little. I help a big grower locally and have done 1 to 4 ish on 200 or so different corals. Very rare to lose corals. Maybe 1 in 40 or 50.what do you personally do.
