Thin rainbow tentacle maybe worm on goni

So I got this beautiful long polyp green goni flower pot, did coral rx and tons of worms came out during the treatment prior to placing in my QT. After placing in my QT I noticed a rainbow colored hair sticking out and (dummy me) thought it was something stuck and went to pluck it. When I tried to pluck it, it pulled into the flower pot immediately.

I decided to leave it alone and continue to observe it. It's now been 6 days since QT and it's sticking out a little bit more but definitely not all the way out. It is affecting the polyps in the immediate vicinity by causing them not to extend. Other than that no real harm to the flower pot.

My initial inclination was maybe a feather duster but never knew they could grow in a flower pot.

Any ideas? Should I actively trying to get rid of it? How? Is it harmless and safe to go into my DT?

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure where I'm looking in the image. If it is a feather duster I'm surprised it survived the dip.

I'm surprised too! I had like 50 worms come flying out in the coral rx squirming to their bitter doom!
