Thank you and I had no clue of course. I did know he was smaller which is good for my size tank. And he acts like a puppy. Hehe.

@i cant think Thought you’d enjoy. He just loves hanging with the goby and was seeing if he’d get an invite into gobies cave… Inches closer, and closer…. No success but happy to sit with him before he runs off to play in the schoolyard.

Deteriorating swimming ability. Attempts to eat but inability to get the food.

The impaired swimming ability is there, but it’s been ignoring food in the acclimation box.

It’s unfortunate but I don’t think either of them are going to make it. I saw the other exquisite out laying on the sand for a little bit before it went to hide in a cave. Neither of them have taken any food so far.

Had to try that mirror trick out this morning, ornate wrasse would not stop harassing the new leapard wrasse. Acclimation box for a few days and all.

Best i got right now!
Only issue was no mirror in my house apparently???? So compact mirror, and yes it still worked!
Here is the grumper, hard to picture bc he is AMPED about this other guy that had the audacity to dress just like him.

Now he just charges at the leapard, but now makes a sharp turn to avoid the look-alike. So far ignoreing the leapard.

And here is the pretty baby

Here are some poor pictures of my 4 wrasses in the 240 gallon.

Surprisingly, the secretive wrasse holds his own quite well in here. Doesn't bother anyone, always out and about, and zero issues diving right into the frenzy with the big tangs, angels, wrasses, triggers, puffers, and damsels for food.

Pseudocheilinus tend to stake out prime real estate in the middle of active reefs and defend it. Not surprising they hold their own despite size.

Again, horrible pics, but these 2 have been waiting months for me to finish the dining room and get the 100 gallon reef set up so they can move out of the 75 gallon holding tank.

I got this C. laboutei about 2 weeks ago and found her swimming funny today. Appears to be UNWD to me, just wanted others opinion before I have to put her down. She seems to be getting worse quickly.

Edit: Went from first video to second video in a matter of minutes.

I don’t want to hit the panic button just yet but the pintail that was introduced yesterday is yet to be seen since early yesterday afternoon. Hoping he’s being skiddish in the rock work somewhere.
Hope he will come out for your today.

The leopard is getting bigger and chunkier! And I don't know if it's a trick of the eye, but her face is starting to look a bit more yellow.

Her back in July:

Looks like your lady Mel is starting to transition!
Yeah. Finally. I like both color schemes but looking forward to some nice bright Christmassy colors. My Bipartitus is slowly changing as well I think. Hard to tell. Love em all.

Why would anyone want their leopards to transition??
They are much prettier as females??
Idk my blue star leopard “male” is pretty amazing! I haven’t seen a female in ages…

Odd activity in the tank today. Ive noticed my toadstool leather not so happy lately and hanging polyps. I figured maybe a part of shedding. However i just watched my adored wrasse (H.Cosmetus) eat/nip/pull polyps off the toadstool.
Always picking at the rocks and frag bases like normal. NO he is biteing the ends off the toadstool stalks. Whats up with that? Will he do anything else??
