Sunday morning quizzes. I’ll wait for @Slocke to guess it.
I’ll be surprised if you guess it if I’m honest, but it’s close to the Magma in terms of genera.

Ok. I’ll guess nahackyi because that is what I’d like to see in your tank.
That is definitely one I’d love, if a female ever appears round here you’ll likely know.

The nano was spoiled this morning! Around 600 pods added, and gorgeous sunlight for photos.

Also anyone care to elaborate on the mirror trick? Specifically for wrasse. I dont have any aggression at the moment, however im still stocking the tank. A link or page number works too!
Thinking that territorial encroachment is natural and likely healthy in the wild. It keep the dormant fish on his toes (not that they have any) I started to place a large mirror (24x18) inches tape to the front of my tank for about 30 mins several times a week. After careful observations, I have decided that this has a very beneficial effect on the fishes in my tank. It really bring out the activity and color of all the fishes.
Be careful on the mirror. One of my friend borrow the mirror and promptly shatter it when he did not secure it well when he used it.

Thank you!
Makes sense, just gotta puff up the little dudes egos. If the real "big" wrasse can punk out the new mirror "small" wrasse then he wins.

Alright @Slocke @i cant think unfortunately I can’t find any of those wrasse in the Cirrhilabrus family. I wanted the pink margin but it seems impossible to find. There are two that I am looking at right now but don’t know if they are the right choice but also might be on the smaller side. Cirrhilabrus Bruneuss or I believe the pin tail is also Cirrhilabrus. If not open to other suggestions

PSA on H. Nebulosus (Nebulous Wrasse) - I saw this cute little guy at the LFS. I didn’t find much info on him other than his full size was on the smaller side and he was labeled as peaceful based on what I found online, so I pulled the trigger. Not a peaceful fish. My Labouti and Orangeback which are twice the size went into hiding. Went after my spotted mandarin repeatedly. Bullied every fish in an understocked tank and got rehomed.

Recently my lubbock and solerensis died because they were swiming erratically. I was wondering if it was swimming bladder disease. Anyone had it before? I didn't quarantine them and now I regret of not having done it. I was feeding a lot to overcome ich in the system. My DT is fallow now and Im gonna wait 6 weeks before introducing any fish.
I have now all my fishes in quarantine and this include a Ruby Head and a Yellow coris. I set up a 15 gallons system with some sand in a Tupperware for the Yellow to bury.
Do you guys have any experience with wrasses and Cupramine? They are now in day 3 of Cupramine and after that I'm gonna do some Prazipro as well.
They are well and eating, Regarding the Cupramine length of treatment, is it ok to proceed to the 14 days of treatment as stated on Cupramine instructions?

Cirrhilabrus bruneus and C isosceles are both small and closely realated. Either one makes a great addition.

I saw one small on for sale for 30 at Petco. I did not like the color of the juvenile or terminal adult coloration, so I did not buy it. I am glad I did not.

Look up UNWD. Jay Hemdal has a thread on it. Also cupramine is not as fish safe as copper power and your wrasse may struggle with it unfortunately. With wrasse and other copper sensitive fish it is always best to use chelated copper over ionic.

It’s generally peaceful but fish sometimes go berserk unfortunately. It’s not to do with the species so much as the individual fish. I’ve seen it happen with a hortulanus. It’s why I suggest an acclimation box so you can see how it will interact with other fish.
