My possum wrasse comes out to say hi whenever I get home. I know it doesnt seem like much, but theyre such shy cryptic fish that it took about a year to settle in enough to consistently come out of its cave network.

How long does it typically take for the risk of a newly introduced leopard wrasse to lower? I've read that after the first month, it becomes more likely to survive long term, is this true?
I'd say the first few weeks. After initially adjusting and relaxing they're actually an incredibly resilient and hardy fish

Agreed!

Once they get into a normal sleep schedule you are golden. Could take a day, could take weeks.

Watching magma behavior when I added earl I knew he would transition fast but not that fast. All took place within a week.
Think I got how to push them to transition down.
Rhomboid is next. He might be hard for me to push to transition but we will try soon
So, to transition a wrasse quickly you must add more wrasse, got it!

The Diamond Tail is a brave guy now, he continues to flare his fins and display to the others. Everyone else seems to just look at him like ‘What a weirdo’.
Also, @Slocke when’s a flavi going to appear in your system?

I'm full on fairies. If I were to get another wrasse it would be a leopard, or a flasher. M melearis, or P filomentosus if I see one. Or if I see another healthy A meleagrides I might try pairing for the first time. Either they don't transition and I just have a pair of females or one transitions and I'm the only person with a male.

You definitely have more self control than me. Then again, I’m going for 3 more wrasse in my nano so I’m not fully maxed out yet.
