More like 160 Gallons (nominal).

Length 160cm

Width 60cm

Height 60cm

Would it still be fine to keep a HT for life? Especially if starting with a small one from Biota.
You are right, it is just about 160.

I came across this thread after being at my LFS and the guy was showing me a red line wrasse with pink under tones. Me my self find tang fish and trigger fish more appealing.
What’s the reason for such popularity in the wrasse fish line up? What am I missing and or looking at wrong. I feel broken being apart of the SW fish Aquatic culture
Well while I usually keep 1-2 tangs in my 200 it is a heavily stocked/rocked reef tank and small fish = more variety of fish. I'm color obsessed and wrasses fit the bill (along with dwarf angels, small anthias, clowns etc.) while also being peaceful and often have quite the personality. Some might argue but IMO big fish are best suited in a large fish only tank or a very large reef tank. And of course, triggers are not remotely reef safe.

Want advice from long-time Harlequin Tusk keepers in this thread. Do they get huge in captivity, and can one be kept in a 64” x 24” x 24” for life? (1.60m x 0.60m x 0.60m)
They typically get to a captive size average of 8-9". Typically I see 6-7". They dont grow fast and regarding 5" tank, get one at 4-5" max to start with and provide hiding spots for them

Sounds good. Just to clarify, do you mean that on average they top out at 6-7”?
Yes. Ive seen 9" ones but in very large tanks. Mine is 7" and last one was a little over 8"

Toss a pink streak named Bonnie T or Cindy L in there with that lot and see what happens. Hilarious if the pop diva becomes the tank boss!
