That guy was a beauty such a shame he jumped. Hopefully they come on the market again in the future.Sorry it always sucks. Let’s have a wrasse memory for wrasse Wednesday. Mine I made jump in February
All because of a stupid gorgonia. Had to clean it and when I reached in the tank to put it back potters freaked and jumped. I didn’t see him at the water surfaceThat guy was a beauty such a shame he jumped. Hopefully they come on the market again in the future.
This is not a Yellow Canary Wrasse (H. chrysus) instead it looks to be a Thalassoma lutescens
What type of wrasse is this?
Canary / Yellow / Golden Adult Wrasse - this is the advertised description..
It should be yellow correct?
In memoriamSorry it always sucks. Let’s have a wrasse memory for wrasse Wednesday. Mine I made jump in February
I still want one..Still the only fish who’d sit in my hand.
RIP Naoko #1 And FU UNWD
I loved that one a lot despite’s it’s very short life in my tank. Though in retrospect the sitting in my hand may have been the first symptoms of UNWD.I still want one..
Jordani is the prettiest of the orange/red wrasses imo. I hope they come back.#WrasseWednesday tributes
Female flame ... diamond tail flasher killed her when she started to transition
Earl's ... jumped
Splendid pencil ... didn't adapt to captivity
Diamond tail ... died of old age
Me too. All of my reef tanks have had one... they were always a must have for me.Jordani is the prettiest of the orange/red wrasses imo. I hope they come back.
That looks normal to me. Leopards are pretty laxidasicalJasmine the M. bipartitis (everyone that cleans/feeds my tanks when I'm on travel gets a fish named after them) came out for her 2 min appearance. Then back into the sand. I managed to dump a lot of food into the tank before she went back and hopefully she ate something. I still don't know if she's swimming OK. She swims very slowly and doesn't bolt around like the H. chrysus do. Apologies for the poor quality photos/videos. Took them from behind the desk zoomed in so I wouldn't spook her.

Me three. Him and Hemi fighting was the greatest show of color. When they locked tail to tail in a circle it was amazing. Sad after when they kept shredding each other.Me too. All of my reef tanks have had one... they were always a must have for me.
Yes she did.You lost the chrysus?
