Just put in an order to @Fragbox Corals
Pin Cushion Urchin
Red Sea Trace-Colors ABCD
Red Sea Trace-Colors Pro Multi Test Kit

I have started feeding banana with my feedings and have noticed a difference in my coral. It seems to be getting my leather coral to extend its tentacles better than it has been prior to the banana.
This made me think I am missing some trace elements, which is why I'm going to try out the ABCD Red Sea product and testing kit.

Everything arrived fast and perfectly packaged from @Fragbox Corals
I was hoping the urchin would be more white, but I like the tint of green

Did my weekly water change about 4 days late. Didn't end up fragging my leather coral, still not sure of it yet.

Scrubbed GHA and cyano off rocks with my daughter and wife's help guiding on the opposite side of the tank.
Vacuumed the sandbed.
Switched out bio (ceramic) tubes in canister filter, cleaned out canister of debris.

Moved some rocks around, elevated my anemone, see how it likes it. Took a couple of nips from the clownfish and sailfin.

Cleaned out my skimmer cup.

The tank is doing great, love how it looks after WC day, lol

I wish people would get past my first post on my build thread.

Oh well, I'll keep updating pictures, because I love my reef.
You have done a great job on this thread. It’s a good read with awesome photos along the way.
Really liking the latest batch. Using one as the background on my phone now.

How are you finding the anemone is doing lately?
It looks a bit more compact (shorter flowing tentacles) than some of the previous photos.

Thank you so much for your thread support. It means a ton, glad to have my picture being used as a background.

The nem has been pretty grumpy lately, I repositioned the rock it's on to get better light and I moved my flow away from it last night, as it looked like it was getting beat up the last week or so. Try some indirect flow and see if it thickens up a bit more. I have a feeling it will do better with out directly getting blasted by flow, lol

Which picture did you use for your background?

Are you going to get a build thread soon?

Nice. I hope it likes the changes. It looks awesome when it is fully extended.

I used the tang peaking out of the rock beside the zoas. A couple other were contenders, but it worked best cropped to fit the phones aspect ratio.

Totally forgot to setup the link to my build thread, should be there now. Thanks for the reminder.

#buildthread update
We received my order from Candy Corals here in Canada.
They have great prices, I also happened to catch them during an invert sale, bonus. The shipment came double bagged, big cooler and extra bags filled with air to stop any movement. The salinity was 1.024 in the bags, my aquarium is 1.025, easy transition.

We got another urchin my 3rd now, lol, this time a Halloween urchin, it's just over an inch in diameter, so cute. I love the colours it has purple, orange, black and green. My Halloween hermit crab also molted, lol I thought it died at first, but saw its body still in the shell...thank god.

We got 10 blue legged hermit crabs and some freebies, 2 nerite snails and a spikey snail..I love freebies.

Ended up looking and getting a mandarin goby, it's absolutely beautiful. Nice and plump and was eating as soon as it was introduced to the tank.

Here are some pictures

I am really enjoying my aquarium and seeing all these inhabitants work together to help the aquarium thrive. Thanks to #r2r for allowing us reefers a place to congregate and be apart of an amazing community @revhtree you are our preacher religious or not. Thanks.

I lost my Halloween urchin and mandarin goby. Not sure as to the exact reason they died, other than starving and getting picked on by my Sailfin Tang.

I just saw 2 Berghia Nudibranchs in my tank last night, searched further and found babies. Hopefully they will grow and I'll have more. My aipstatia has slowly dwindled away, I might need to seed my tank soon.

So sorry about the losses. Did you add pods when you added the mandarin, or had you seeded the tank with pods before introducing? I apologize if you stated this earlier on. Definitely going to have to look back through it all and check everything out. I have two mandarins (blue and spotted), and I’m trying to find the appropriate amount of pods to introduce over time myself. You have some beautiful corals and photos.
