I thought i would do a build thread on my 130l juwel tank, to show there are many ways to keep coral. Buts its all about stability.
I got my tank from a close friend of mine for free. When it was first set up at mine and my wifes place it looked like this 5 years ago.
After waiting 6 months we decided to buy a 1 polyp frag of a green torch coral. And then the coral craze started, this is the tank today.
The gadgets are as follows..
Fluval 3.0 and 2.0 led lights.
A boyu skimmer
A fluval 306 canister.
I also have a 500w heater and a fluval power head.
I do a 5% water change with red sea coral pro every other day to keep alk up at around 8.3-8.6, thats it. I dont dose at all.
Here are a few of my corals.
These green torch coral are the 1 polyp frag i started with.
As you can see all is happy by keeping things simple.
Thanks for viewing.
