I have been running my refugium for 12 hours on/12 hours off for a little over two weeks. The Sea Lettuce has nearly doubled in that time.

Dude....i had to take my ulva fuge offline.
It took care of my nitrates just like this lol.

Now theyre bottomed out again.....

Its literally the best N02 sink ive tried.

Where did you source your ulva? I had some about 10 years ago and it introduced a ton of aiptasia into my system. Would love to bring it back to the fuge.

omg my brother. That is freaking awesome. I love my chaeto

Ulva seems to out compete Red ogo so be mindful of that. I thought the ogo did a better job than the Ulva and the fish seemed to like the ogo better

Does the Sea Lettuce stick to rock work or is it free floating? I've never been able to get that rolling ball of Cheato so it just blocks off the surface.

You can anchor it until it attached naturally. Sea Lettuce does grow anchored or tumbled

late response but just reading through. I just got the ultra refugium pack from them. i have a H80 Kessil. What is the best light option? red? Grow? Thank you!

I use the Neptune Gro on my fuge but I believe you want the grow settings on those kessils.

A lot of people put it on the grow setting and have it on opposite as their display tank lights.

Just pulled out 4 qts of ulva and going back to red ogo. The ulna choked out my red. The fish seem to prefer the red so we’ll See how that goes.

Sea lettuce can survive in my refugium but somehow chaeto can't.

That is exactly what mine looked like @Dempsey941. Not the most attractive macro. And here is 4 quarts in my sink. It does have an odor that the red ogo does not - at least I felt so.
