Hows everyone looking today? How's the alk?
Haven't found the dart fish. But otherwise all fish accounted for. 3 coral nocked down, one being the hammer, soni will be getting all the ca glue home Depot has and try to urchin proof the tank.
Alk this morning is 220. Doesn't look like I have much consumption at all, so will be changing water today. Making to as I type.

tasks for today:
  • test water in both tanks,
  • change water in both salt tanks,
  • run to HD for pump and pipes to set up rain collection/garden watering system. this will also aid in water collection and pulling water out of the freshwater tanks. probably don't want any saltwater in there.
  • begin to set up the rain barrels for automation,
  • fix powerhead in 75,
  • figure out why i have securities in my brokerage account that I didn't (remember) purchasing. this may be a little more important than some of the above listed items...
  • Edit: fill the keg with water. We ran out of bubbly water before leaving town.

Looks like most of the coral and nems seem happy.
The stylopora on top is struggling somewhat but I think since the move there is hanging on. I had it in the sand bed till I reviewed the light requirements. I looked closer at my pectinia and I'm pretty sure I can see growth from when I got it.
Nems are doing great, the blasto and clove polyps have new growth. That makes me happy. Chalice is toast though.

Always best to try. You never know who comes back. Pectinia are just as nice as chalice coral. I'll love update photos of yours. Seems to be a very nice piece.
They are my preference. The chalice was my wife's purchase at my first r2r live sale. She was pretty happy with herself and excited for it. There will be others though. My lfs sells Hollywood stunner for virtually nothing all the time.

I remember well saying I'm not adding anything to the tank till the fall. Well I fell. Meet the newest coral to the reef.
An acan:

A maroon monti, glad to break up all the green I have (I am very sloppy with the super glue. I will spend a little more next time for the gel):

And finally, a pociprora, I think.

I blame the store credit and the unusually great number of choices. Walked out spending $7 on coral and some more on food.

Most likely the Pocillopora or whatever it's called but it could be a Stylophora.

Edit: I don't think officially they're Acan anymore. Micromussa Lordhowensis

You're right, it was reclassified. Since it is a micro lord he shall be named,

I'm not sure how to spell it. It's something like Pocillopora though I think.

Searching both Stylo and poci they look about the same. I though Stylo was much thicker in the branches. May need to get me a microscope though.
I think you're probably right. Poci is more like a Birdsnest I believe...
