ooo ok; I think you bought a special print bed that temp is king; and probably not good with AquaNet.I forget the thread we were talking about it on, so it's here now. @Projects with Sam the glass feels smooth, but not smooth like my glass stove top, so I'm going with a not so smooth print bed.
I'm pretty sure it was this one.ooo ok; I think you bought a special print bed that temp is king; and probably not good with AquaNet.
I just use tempered glass. I'm a dinosaur... Should probably buy PEI surface...
time to replace my heating cartridge... first time in 3 years!
Cool! Good build plate; try glue sticks, blue tape, or AquaNet if using PETG. PETG fuses to glass.I'm pretty sure it was this one.
3 years is a good run.
Thanks. I'll give at least one of those a shot.Cool! Good build plate; try glue sticks, blue tape, or AquaNet if using PETG. PETG fuses to glass.
It's easier to quote the post...So, turns out I have no idea what is coming Thursday...
You can always just copy and paste as well... That leaves out the quote portion. It's easier to quote the post...
I could have. But I was about speed last night. Had to beat the wife at a game of unstable unicorns. You can always just copy and paste as well... That leaves out the quote portion.
120 is a cool footprint. I bought my 110 tank only for $100. I got both of the 125s for free...Also, someone in the neighborhood as a 120 for sale, canister filter too for $400. And yesterday an acrylic 120 with sump and plumbing popped up for the same price. Now here is the question, those who have more experience buying used and bigger tanks, is that a reasonable price? We are talking about upgrading both fresh and salt and a 120 is the biggest that will fit our house.
120s are big enough that if you have patience people just want them out...Also, someone in the neighborhood as a 120 for sale, canister filter too for $400. It's the biggest my living room will hold, and I may need a shorter tv stand to fit them.120 is a cool footprint. I bought my 110 tank only for $100. I got both of the 125s for free...

$400 is too much in my opinion unless it is cherry... New 125s are $400 without stand at Petco when they have their sales.
Worst they can say is no. I always lowball on second hand stuff. I dont think it is insulting to offer what you want to pay for it.It's the biggest my living room will hold, and I may need a shorter tv stand to fit them.
I was on the fence, that's why I asked. I can get a new 120 for $450. I haven't seen bigger than 75 at petco, even online. having the filters included saves me hassle and $ but I will still make a lower offer, and at some degree want them to reject it; I have a lot going on at the moment. I could just have a longer water test in the yard before setting it up though.
I "rescued" 3 Australian Rainbowfish, 3 Clown Loaches, and 2 Yellow Labridochromes years ago. I raised the Clown Loaches to about 6" and traded 1 for 3 Fluval 404 canisters and some other odds and ends aquarium related products....It's the biggest my living room will hold, and I may need a shorter tv stand to fit them.

He says "old age" because he's like 35?.Worst they can say is no. I always lowball on second hand stuff. I dont think it is insulting to offer what you want to pay for it.
I've even gotten so stodgy in my old age I haggle at retail stores.
So questionably younger than me.He says "old age" because he's like 35?.
She took the $300 offer. Shoulda said 250.Worst they can say is no. I always lowball on second hand stuff. I dont think it is insulting to offer what you want to pay for it.

I took some 8" dojo loaches free. They were going to be in the angel tank, but a little too active so they went to the lfs and turned into coral.I "rescued" 3 Australian Rainbowfish, 3 Clown Loaches, and 2 Yellow Labridochromes years ago.
