Pineapple sponges. No harm no foul. I love those things.
No sump available, but had me sweating for a hot minute... Just started dipping the bowerbanki they are on.Pineapple for sure. Relocate them to the sump. Great CUC.
I mean, you just bought a sponge eating cowrie... Free food to keep it from eating nems and softies!!!No sump available, but had me sweating for a hot minute... Just started dipping the bowerbanki they are on.
But if they're fine. I'll stop.
Cowrie is in the other tank. But you're not wrong.I mean, you just bought a sponge eating cowrie... Free food to keep it from eating nems and softies!!!
Cowrie is in the other tank. But you're not wrong.
They'd do great in the other tank then. The whole thing is a mess. This is a week after cleaning algae. The safest sponge you will ever encounter are the pineapples. They will never fight coral for territory. Strictly filter feeders that love filthy places. Explains why they are under the bower.
Thanks! Most of the time he's a good boy.Love you dood in your avatar!
Definitely needs a Sailfin Tang? They'd do great in the other tank then. The whole thing is a mess. This is a week after cleaning algae.
Was thinking the fox face I saw at Petco Saturday.Definitely needs a Sailfin Tang?
@tbrown3589 they also had a nice lawnmower blenny that would eat well there if I didn't have the dottyback...
Want some algae for him?
Oh he's got plenty. He's the sole algae eater (outside of the snails) in my 125. I have a Tomini to move over but I want the calmer fish first.Want some algae for him?
I had Molly's for a night. I'd have to pull out the dottyback or he will unalive anything new to the tank. I am thinking about a rescape and that could be a good time to add fish. But at the end of the day it's 15 gallons and that's part of the trouble. You might be able to keep a Tomini Tang short term. Maybe check out mollies? You can get them already Saltwater adapted.
Already have. Tasted mighty fine on a chop stick.Enjoy
