Apex wants me to send the unit in, this will be the 3rd time...starting to wonder if I just shouldn't get a new brain unit.

But not all bad news, ordered a Midas Blenny from Live Aquaria's Divers Den. Super Excited. Will set up the 10g tanks for tank Transfer Method, tomorrow evening, but first, need to get myself a 50W heater, and some airstones.

13 Days and 4 transfers, and he'll be ready for the 20 long Observation for 10-14 days.

Messed around with the aquascape. The vertical piece on the left, I can lay down and create an angled shelf...or leave it upright. What do you guys think?

Gotta admit I kinda like it horizontal. Creates a few more swim through holes and more surface area to place corals.

So far my impression of Dr. Tims One and Only is that it's a ripoff. 3 weeks now and nitrites are still at about 5ppm.

That said, numerous times I woke up with the tank temperature at 71 due to the Apex issues.

Big day!

The midas blenny will be here today, and 6-8 weeks of QT will start. Since I have really nothing but a 20 long, and if I buy another 5 gallon bucket my wife will kill me. The blenny will be treated in the 20 long with Cupramine for 4 weeks, then I'll run carbon, do a water change, and hit him with 2 doses of PraziPro. Plan of attack with the Cupramine is to add 0.9ml per day until I get to 0.4mg/l (I think that's the form its in). Since the fish is from Live Aquaria Divers Den, I'm not anticipating any diseases, but will be proactively treating. After 2 doses of PraziPro, will observe for another 10-14 days, and if all goes well, add him to the display tank.

Nitrites hit 0! Adding 2ppm ammonia and if we are at 0/0 tomorrow night...it's on like donkey kong

QT has a cover and the 120 has a canopy. My little guy hangs out in the corner of the QT for past 24 hours. Going to try to get him to eat tomorrow.

Dosed Ammonia Sunday Night, and last night it was at 2ppm, with nitrites at 0.25-0.50 ppm. Not cycled, but getting closer.
