Definitely the orange plate. Beautiful coral. Thanks for the ID! How easy are these to keep?

One out of three for me so far. I don't think they are meant to be difficult, but I imagine they appreciate a stable tank and clean sand bed.

They aren't the trochus shell that is fished for food. They only grow to a couple of cm in size. However, I think they may well be related.

Believe it or not, this zoa colony started being carried on that tux as just like 5 polyps.

I love my conch too! However my love at the moment is "camo crab" i am hounstly unsure of the exact species. Its a hitchhikers from TBS i believe pitho crab?

He eats algea very bery slowly, sometimes i try to suck him up with a turky basker thinking its a clump of hair algea.

Have a bunch now and no idea where they came from.
Never saw a single one for first 2 years or so then, one day, saw one,,, now I have a bunch.
*must've survived a coral dip at some point but seems like I have 2 different types so kinda strange -- anyway, I like 'em

Newly added top shells have found the back glass algae problem and have set about demolishing it. Hope they find that rock just in front of it soon as well. Work harder !!!!!
