Best of luck to getting rid of the GHA!Sorry for the delay, I continue to take things slow as my nitrates and phosphates are a bit high (25 and .26). I added a few sticks and they didn't do well, so ordered some chaeto and another macro that is in QT for a couple weeks. I suspect that NO3 and PO4 are the culprits, combined with a slightly higher alk of 9.5. I have a couple RBTA, a handful of rock flower nems, and about 5-6 diff types of zoas that are doing fine.
I had some bad luck with a company that QT's their fish (put them in my own sterile QT tank with mollies as a canary), over 2 separate orders. Fortunately, they sent a replacement order of fish from the initial order, and the only survivor of that order is a sailfin desjardini. So the company sent ANOTHER order of some green bubble tip anemones, some shrimp (in my coral QT), and a bunch of macro. Unfortunate about the fish, but very pleased with how this company continued to do right by their products.
Other than that still slowly trying to get rid of the GHA, with moderate success of scrubbing the rock with peroxide, but that is a real pain in the butt with this big tank (reaching in and grabbing the rock. Hopefully when nutrients go down, I will get that beat once and for all. Will update with some pics tomorrow.
