This mess of a tank is my first one ever, I move in a month so I'm upgrading from the 20 gal long to a 26 gal peninsula when I do. Might actually have room for everything!

I grow anything and everything I can!

Also I'm a few Coors deep, idk if a 20g is a nano or not lol

how do you guys keep it stable in a nano for sps ?
I think everyone will have a different answer to this depending on the size of their tank and how much coral/sps they have in it. I've definitely pushed the envelope for a tank this size, but have always planned to move to a bigger system. That being said my biggy is Alk. I test Alk every other day. Typically this tank is using about 5 ml of All for Reef twice a day, and some additional SeaChem Reef Carbonate. We have a high CO2 level in the house so I run my Bubble Magus skimmer intake through CO2 removal resin. In the last 5 months I almost never check my PH it was driving me squirrely and so I let the coral tell me if something is going south. Sometimes I have needed to add calcium carbonate to boost calcium....I check that at least once a week. All in all I would say it was easier keeping things stable in my 75 gal reef, but this has been an interesting and rewarding challenge.

how do you guys keep it stable in a nano for sps ?
My tank is not yet successfull but I can see SPS are growing (hope to be thriving). Only easy SPS, montipora, stylophora...

In my case,
1. 30% water change every 10 days - New water is waste water from my 53G acropora tank
2. Use Live sand from ocean
3. Dose 3ml of AFR every day to maintain alkalinity stable
4. Maintain salinity by manual top off

Very low maintainance tank. It's 6 months Fluval Evo 13.5G.
